The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level in all areas of science and engineering.
The positions are open to researchers of all nationalities. Successful candidates are supported by generous start-up grants, and are expected to establish strong research programs and to excel in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The medium of instruction is English.

It will continue to empower researchers from diverse disciplines to work together to solve pressing challenges. It will also continue to carry out activities with direct social impact, such as training school teachers, disseminating sustainable rural technologies, and research in areas such as climate change, healthcare, water management, and renewable energy.
